Biography:
Norman W. Lavy graduated from Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He served an internal medicine residency and post-doctoral fellowships before joining E.R. Squibb & Sons in 1966. For 15 years, ending in 1987, he headed Squibb's Drug Regulatory Affairs department, the last ten years as Vice-President. He is now aa private consultant in pharmaceutical research and medical and regulatory affairs based in Westfield, New Jersey. He is also a clinical associate professor og medicine at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine.
