William A. Halbeisen

American physician, born August 8, 1915; died July 1981.

Biography:
William A. Halbeisen attended St. Joseph Prep-high school and graduated in 1933. He then went go St. Joseph University for his college studies and graduated in 1937. He went to Jefferson Medical School for his medical studies and graduated in 1941. He did his internship at Cooper Hospital where he met his wife, Jane Ann, born Newhard (1920-1983). They married in 1942. His wife was a registered nurse in the pediatric unit.

For quite some time they lived in Medford Lakes, New Jersey, where he was a deacon at St.Mary's catholic church. They had seven children. There are now ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Halbeisen was had a thriving practice in Haddonfield, New Jersey, and he was Chief of Cardiology at Our Lady of Lords in Camden, New Jersey.

William A. Halbeisen was a founding member of the World Health Organization(WHO).
