Georges Froin
French physician, born 1874, Châteauneuf, Charente.

Froin's symptom
Yellow cerebrospinal fluid that rapidly coagulates. Symptom of massive coagulation of the liquor cerebrospinalis.

Froin's syndrome
The cerebrospinal fluid, obtained by lumbar puncture, is yellow and the protein content is raised.

Biography:
Georges Froin received his doctorate in Paris in 1904. He is remembered for having described in 1903 the so-called Froin's syndrome.
