Biography of Hans Runge

Hans Runge attended the universities of Tübingen, Leipzig, and Rostock, obtaining his doctorate at the latetr university in 1919. He worked in the university pathological institute at Rostock as well as at the university women’s and children’s clinic, and subsequently entered service at the university women’s clinic at Kiel, where he was habilitated for obstetrics and Gynecology in 1924, becoming ausserordentlicher professor in 1924. He later worked in Heidelberg.
