Biography of Leslie Paton

Leslie Paton studied at Cambridge, Glasgow, and London, and received his doctorate at Cambridge in 1900, becoming fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. He became an ophthalmic surgeon at St. Mary’s Hospital as well as the National Hospital for the Paralysed and the Epileptic, and from 1902 to 1928 lectured on ophthalmology at St. Mary’s Hospital.
