A poorly defined form of abortive disseminated encephalomyelitis with lesions distributed throughout the brain and the spinal cord.

Biography:
Besides Munch-Petersens syndrome (=Redlich's syndrome), or abortive disseminated encephalomyelitis, Munch-Petersen is also associated with schizobasia, a functional type of gait disorder in organic nerve diseases.
