The test is performed by placing the palm in the renal region and hitting the back of the palm with the fist of the other hand. Sign is positive if pain is elicited. It is a variant of Giordano's sign (will be entered later). Both signs positive in: nephrolithiasis, pyelonephritis, paranephritis, tuberculosis renum.
