Self-help group for people mainly formed by a small number of doctors interested in improving their relationships with their patients and coordinated by a specially trained psychiatrist. They have as their aim to reveal feelings, unwittingly harboured by the doctor towards his patient, usually engendered by purely subjective motives, which interfere with the doctor's approach to his patient; thus jeopardizing not only psychological aspects of the patient but also blurring or blinding the doctor's mind with regard to right diagnostic procedures and further treatment.

What is an eponym?
