Biography of Wolfgang Killian

Wolfgang Killian graduated from the University of Vienna in 1971. After internships, he worked in the Institute of Human Genetics, Marburg, Germany. From 1975 he worked under Professor Andreas Rett (1924-) at the Department for handicapped children, Vienna. This work resulted in a degree in physical anthropology in 1980. Killian is presently (2001) a consultant in syndrome diagnosis and genetic counselling for paediatric institutions in Vienna, based at the St Anna Children's Hospital.
