    Biography of David Pitt

    In 1959, David Pitt joined the Kew Cottages workforce, where he was a paediatrician for 17 years and improved the conditions for the children. He was a pioneer in the identification of rare syndromes using computers.

    The Cottages anabled him to contribute to the day to day care of disadvantaged people in the Australian community, while continuing his research. Pitt left Kew in 1976.
