Biography of Jens Einar Meulengracht

Jens Einar Meulengracht attended the University of Copenhagen, graduating doctor of medicine in 1912. He was assistant at the pathological institute of the Bispebjerg Hospital under Ettermann and head physician at the university medical clinic under Knud Helge Faber (1862-1956), as well as in the medical department of the Bispebjerg Hospital under Victor Scheel (1869-1923). He was habilitated for internal medicine in 1918 and in 1824 became director of the medical department in the Bispebjerg Hospital. His work concerns internal medicine, particularly haematology and diseases of the liver.
