Biography of Lauren Vedder Ackerman

Lauren Vedder Ackermann, Washington University, St.Louis.
Some believe "his" was the tumour biopsied by Sir Morel McKenzie (1837-1892) and reported on by Rudolf Virchow as benign. The tumour killed the liberal German emperor Friedrich II and led to the accession of Wilhelm I to the German throne, probably changing the course of history.
