Description:
Method of determining the coagulation time of blood: citrate plasma in small vitrios is kept at 37º C in transparent Dewar vessel. To this is added optimal quantities of calcium iones, and the time from the adding to beginning of coagulation is measured. In haemophilia coagulation time determined by this method may be prolonged.
