Waldenström's disease

Description:
Chronic inflammation of the head of the femur in children. Results in atrophy and shortening of the neck and femur with a wide flat head.
Osteochondritis deformans juvenilis is also entered as Scheuermann's disease, but it is uncertain whether this is the same condition.
