Bársony-Polgár syndrome II

Description:
Sudden appearance, often at eating, of functionally conditioned spasms of the oesophagus. For a shorter or prolonged time the patient is unable to swallow and feels and urge to vomit. Chest pain and dysphagia are associated. Excitable elderly individuals are most commonly affected.
