His-Steger models

Description:
In collaboration with the Leipzig sculptor Franz Josef Steger, Wihelm His produced original plaster casts of anatomocal preparations. These were used in the teaching of anatomy and were sold to other European countries. In Germany the models are known as His-Steger-Modelle.
