Czerny's suture

A method of intestinal suturing whereby the needle enters the serosa, passes out through the submucosa or muscularis, and then enters the submucosa or muscularis of the opposite side and emerges from the serosa. It is the first row of the Czerny-Lembert intestinal suture.
