Fontana's spaces

Description:
Irregularly shaped endothelium-lined spaces between the processus of ligamentum pectinatum of the iris. Through these the anterior chamber of the eye communicates with the canal of Schlemm (Sinus venosus sclerae). They convey the aqueous humor. The diameter of Fontana's space determines outflow of aqueous.
