Weigert's stain and method

Description:
Weigert introduced a number of bacteriological and tissue stains, and methods of staining. The one which is still principally known as Weigert’s method is his myelin sheath stain which he introduced in 1882.
Weigert's stains include stains for: iron haematoxylin, actinomyces, elastin, fibrin, myelin and neuroglia.
