Mosse's syndrome

Mosse's polycythaemia

Description:
The simultaneous presence of polycythaemia rubra vera (Vaques' disease/ Vaques-Osler syndrome) and cirrhosis of the liver. A rare combination which is often not diagnosed until necropsy. Polycythaemia vera also occurs in animals.
