Description:
Large, round or oval vacuolated phagocyte with small pyknotic nucleus seen in the nodules of rhinoscleroma. Embedded in the mucous mass the cells often contain large quantities of phagozythised rhinoscleroma bacteria – Klebsiella rhinoscleromatis.
