A method for accelerating the healing process – ossification – in fractures.
French description: Traitement appliquée à certaines fractures d'un membre inférieur, dont la consolidation tarde à se produire. Il consiste à pratiquer avec un perforateur, dans les fragments osseux, un certain nombre de canaux obliques aboutissant en éventail à la surface de la fracture
Obsolete method for accelerating healing – ossification - in fractueres and aseptic necroses of bone. It was described by Dieffenbach in 1841 and systematized by Beck in 1929.
