Fèvre's sign
Also known as:
Fèvre-Pellerin sign
Associated persons:
Marcel Paul Lui Edmond Fèvre
Friedrich Christoph Pelizaeus
Description:
Roentgenological and clinical-operative sign of intestinal invagination in infants. The roentgenological-surgigical method allows for a diagnostic clarification and in many cases simultaneously makes possible a desinvagination. If this is not successful, laparotomy should be performed without delay.
