Biography of Sophie Spitz

Sophie Spitz was born in Tennessee. She received a bachelor of arts in 1929 from the Vanderbilt University, Nashville, and obtained her medical doctorate in 1932. She was married to Arthur C. Allen, MD, also a noted pathologist. She died at the age of only 46 years.
