Biography of Karl Hürthle

Karl Hürthle obtained his doctorate in Tübingen in 1884, and from 1884 to 1886 he was prosector of the anatomical institute in Tübingen. From 1887 to 1889 he was assistant at the physiological institute in Breslau, where he was habilitated in 1889, becoming extraordinarius 1895. He was appointed ordinarius in 1898 and retired in 1927.
