Biography of Victor Henri Hutinel

Victor Henri Hutinel first studied in Nancy, then in Paris where he became externe 1871, interne 1872, receiving his doctorate in 1877. He was appointed Chef de Clinique 1878, 1879 Médecin des Hôpitaux, agrégé 1883, 1897 professor of internal pathology and in 1907 professor of paediatrics. He was one of the most distinguished representatives of clinical medicine in France, being elected a member of the Académie de Médecine in 1899.

Hutinel was publisher of the work Les maladies des enfants. 5 volumes; Paris, 1909.
