Biography of Frans Ali Krogius

Ali Krogius attended the University of Helsingfors, received his doctorate in 1892 and went abroad for further studies. From 1890 to 1894 he was assistant at the surgical clinic in Helsingfors where he was habilitated for surgery, and from 1901 was ordinarius. He became emeritus in 1929.

Krogius, one of the most distinguished representatives of his speciality, worked on a very wide variety of themes
