died 1970.

Biography:
Ester Elisabeth Grönblad was the daughter of a successful businessman. She qualified in medicine from the University of Stockholm in 1929 and subsequently trained in ophthalmology in the Serafimerlasarettet in Stockholm. She then spent two years visiting ophthalmological centres abroad, before entering private practice. Besides her practice, Grönblad was the head of the Ophthalmological Service for Stockholm Schools from 1930 until 1943. She also served on the Stockholm School Board for many years.
