Biography:
After attending the Gymnasium in Freiberg, Hans Gustav Wilhelm Steinert attended the universities of Leipzig, Freiberg, Berlin and Kiel. He graduated in 1898 and subsequently held junior appointments in Halle and der Saale and Berlin. He settled in Leipzig, where he worked in the pathological institute and the medical clinic before he was appointed professor in 1910. Most of his written works are in the field of neurological and muscular conditions.
