Biography of Mario Bertolotti

Mario Bertolotti attended the University of Torino, received his doctorate in 1901 and went to Charcot at the Salpêtrière in Paris for further education. He worked at the Ospedale Mauriziano and the Ospedale Maggiore in Torino, becoming director of the institute of radiology at the latter institution. In 1910 he received the Venia legendi for physical therapy, and in 1915 was appointed teacher of medical radiology at his alma mater. His numerous works concern the fields of neurology and radiology.
