Austrian paediatrician, born July 3, 1816, Potterstein, Bohemia; died January 28, 1888, Vienna.

Biography:
Alois Bednar was a famous Viennese paediatrician, chief physician at the city orphanage and associate professor (Dozent) at the University of Vienna. He died from a stroke.
