Biography of Howard Raymond Mahorner

Mahorner attended the University of Pennsylvania. Following graduation in 1925 he was a fellow in surgery at the Mayo Clinic from 1926 to 1930. From 1932 to 1946 he was assistant professor of surgery at Tulane University, New Orleans. In 1950 he became clinical professor of surgery at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine.
