Biography of Johannes Heinrich Schultz
Schultz attended the universities of Lausanne, Göttingen, and Breslau, obtaining his doctorate at Göttingen in 1907. He worked in the university medical polyclinic at Breslau, later at the university dermatological clinic, the Ehrlich Institut in Frankfurt am Main, the Nervenheilanstalt in Chemnitz, and the university nerve clinic at Jena, where he was habilitated for psychiatry in 1915, becoming ausserordentlicher professor in 1919. He subsequently moved to Berlin as a neurologist and psychotherapist.
