Paul Divry

Belgian physician, born April 24, 1889, Momignies.

Van Bogaert-Divry syndrome
A familial syndrome characterised by angiomatosis of skin and cerebral meninges with progressive demyelinisation of white matter, hemianopsia and cutis marmorata due to telangiectases.





Biography:
Paul Divry attended the University of Liége, graduating MD in 1914. He subsequently worked in the psychiatric clinic, becoming agrégé in 1923. In 1925 he was appointed professor of psychiatry at the University of Liége.

Liège lies in the French-speaking region of Belgium. In the German literature Liége is referred to by its German name Lüttich. The Dutch name is Luik.
