Johan Vilhelm Hultkrantz
Swedish physician, born December 11, 1862, Uppsala.

A fairly common osseous anomaly with a long list of symptoms.

Biography:
Johan Vilhelm Hultkrantz studied at Uppsala and Stockholm, becoming a licentiate in 1891, doctor of medicine in 1897. From 1885 to 1889 he was amanuensis and laboratory technician in the physiological institute in Uppsala, and 1894-1899 prosector in the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm. He was habilitated for anatomy in 1897, became professor extraordinary 1899, in 1909 full professor of this discipline at Uppsala. He retired in 1927.
Hultkrantz’ work concerns anatomy (osteology, joint mechanics, brain, malformations), anthropology (craniology, body length), and racial biology.
