Biography of Nikolai Adolphovich Shereshevskii

Nikolai Adolphovich Chereshewskii studied medicine at the Medical faculty, Moscow University, graduating in 1911. In 1921 he gave a lectured course of endocrinology. Shereshevskii in 1925 first documented the classical phenotype of Morgagni-Chereshevskii-Turner-Albright syndrome, in a woman aged 25 years. He worked as chief of Federal Institute for experimental endocrinology (1932-1934) and as director of this Institute (until 1934). Nikolai Adolphovich Cherreshevskii published over 100 articles.
