Biography of Friedrich Wanner

Friedrich Wanner studied in Munich, receiving his doctorate in 1894. He was subsequently assistant at the I. medical department under von Hugo Wilhelm von Ziemssen (1829-1902), and 1896-1908 at the university otological clinic under Friedrich von Bezold (1842-1908). He was habilitated for otology in M√ľnchen in 1902, becoming professor extraordinary in 1910, subsequently working as head physician of the otological department of the hospital. His work concerns in particular otology, deaf-dumbness, and function tests.
