A venereal disease found world-wide, but particularly in tropical and subtropical climates. Now considered a historical term.

Favre-Racouchot syndrome
A skin disease characterized by yellowish thickening of skin and nodules, comedones and follicular cysts, caused by degeneration of elastic tissue.

Gamna-Favre bodies
Cytoplasmic inclusions seen in lymphorgranuloma venereum.

Goldmann-Favre syndrome
A familial eye disease characterized by night blindness, vitreoretinal degeneration, peripheral retinoschisis and epiretinal membranes.
