Norwegian physician, born May 13, 1936, Oslo.

A severe variant of the Zinsser-Engman-Cole syndrome (dyskeratosis congenita).

Biography:
Hans Martin Høyeraal graduated in medicine in Aberdeen in 1963 and qualified as a physician in Oslo the same year. He became a licensed specialist in children’s diseases in 1969, and in 1969 also in rheumatology. He received his medical doctorate in Oslo in 1976 and in 1983 became Master of Public Health in Houston, Teaxas.
He has worked in several hospitals and for a period ran a private practice in paediatrics and rheumatology. He has been a visiting professor in pediatry at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, and a consultant to the Texas Childrens Hospital
Høyeraal has written more than 100 articles and 140 abstracts on paediatric, immunological, rheumatological and health administrative topics.
