American physician, born 1921.

Biography:
Henry Stephen Magraw Uhl described "his" anomaly as a case report written in his first year out of medical school while he was working in the Department of Pathology at Johns Hopkins University. In 1973, he was appointed to be the first director of the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, N.C. He is presently professor emeritus of medicine of the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University.
