Agostino Pasini
Italian dermatologist, born March 8, 1875, Milano; died 1944.
Associated eponyms:
Pasini's syndrome
A form of epidermolysis bullosa marked by small, firm, white perifollicular papules appearing on the trunk, especially lumbosacral region.

Pasini-Pierini disease
A progressive skin disease, characterized by depressed bluish violaceous or brownish-blue lesions with smooth surfaces.

Biography:
Agostino Pasiniattended the universities of Pavia, Parma, and Milano, receiving his doctorate at Pavia in 1900. He worked in the clinic for skin and venereal diseases in Parma and Milano. He was habilitated for clinical dermatology at Parma in 1905, and from 1022 was professor of this discipline at Milano.
