Biography of Herbert Fuhs

Herbert Fuhs became chief of the university skin clinic in Graz in 1936. When the two dermatological clinics in Vienna were merged in 1939, Fuhs became its director and professor, replacing professors Leopold Arzt (1833-1955) and Wilhelm Kerl (1880-1945) who had been dismissed for political reasons. After the war Fuhs was forced to retire, and both Arzt and Kerl were reinstated.
