Biography of Robert Brian Lowry

Robert Brian Lowry studied medicine at Queen's University, Belfast. He moved to Canada and became chief resident at the Vancouver General Hospital. From 1965 he was a research fellow in medical genetics at the University of British Columbia's department of pediatrics. He became a professor at this university, and in 1977 he moved to the position of professor and head of the division of medical genetics in the department of pediatrics, University of Calgary, Alberta.
