German internist, born December 5, 1864, Olmütz, Moravia; died 1925, Lwów, Poland (now Lviv, Ukraine). German name: Lemberg.

Biography:
Vinzenz Arnold studied in Krakow and Leipzig and was conferred doctor of medicine in Krakow. From 1892 to 1906 he was assistant and second physician at the department of internal medicine as well as the department of infectious diseases at the Allgemeines Krankenhaus in Limber, where he was primarius from 1906 to 1925. Lemberg was the German name for the Polish city of Lwów, now Lviv, Ukraine.
