Moshe Wolman

Israeli neuropathologist, born 1914, Warsaw, Poland.

A rare, inborn metabolic disorder (lipidosis) in which infants develop hepatosplenomegaly, calcification of the adrenal glands, and foam cells in the bone marrow and other tissues.





Biography:
Moshe Wolman attended the universities of Florence and Rome, graduating M.D. from Rome in 1938. In 1964 he became professor and chairman of pathology at the University of Tel-Aviv. Wolman is a pioneer in histochemistry.
