Biography of Paul Strübing

Paul Strübing studied at Berlin, Halle, and Greifswald until he obtained his doctorate in 1876. Subsequently he was first assistant in the eye clinic, then at the medical clinic and policlinic, and was habilitated for internal medicine there in 1882. In 1889 he became extraordinary professor, and in 1900 was appointed full professor as well as director of the medical policlinic.
