Biography:
Telfer B. Reynolds is Clayton G. Loosli Professor of Medicine, University of Southern California. He earned his medical degree from the USC School of Medicine and joined the USC faculty in 1950. In 1952 he served as a Bank of America-Giannini Foundation Research fellow at the Royal Postgraduate - Hammersmith Hospital in London. Dr. Reynolds started the hepatology program at USC, one of the few centers in the world at the time. He has trained numerous outstanding hepatologists both in the US and abroad. He has been honoured for his leadership and innovative research contributions in the field of hepatology.
