Biography of Oscar Scaglietti

Oscar Scaglietti was born to Italian parents on Costa Rica. He graduated from the University of Bologna in 1930. He worked in the orthopaedic clinic at Bologna from 1932 to 1947, when he moved to the University of Florence. Here he became professor of orthopaedics in 1956.
