Biography of Berthold Stiller

Berthold Stiller studied medicine in Budapest and Vienna. He received his medical doctorate in Budapest in 1863, after winning a prize for a treatise on the various forms of reproduction in the animal kingdom. and subsequently entered a position as secondary physician at the Budapest Israel Hospital, of which he became physician-in-chief in 1874. He became Dozent in internal medicine in 1876, titular professor in 1883.
