Biography of Georg Benno Gruber

Georg Benno Gruber studied in München and obtained his doctorate in that city in 1909. In 1914 he was habilitated for pathological anatomy in Strassburg, in 1917 became prosector in Mainz, and in 1923 was appointed to the chair in Innsbruck, in 1928 in Göttingen.

From 1927 Gruber published the posthumous editions of Ernst Schwalbe’s (1871-1920) Die Morphologie der Missbildungen des Menschen und der Tiere.
